If you read my last post, you know that I mentioned I had just finished a ginormous wreath.
This is what I wanted to start with:

Is that an awesome topper or what?? It is the biggest one I have in my collection. I call it the Atomic Topper because it seems sort of Space Age-y in style and has those cool stars on it, too. It reminds me of The Jetsons, who I loved when I was a kid way back when.
Anyway, there were a few directions that I could go with when I made the wreath and I was a bit undecided. One thing I knew for sure was that it had to be BIG. That topper demanded it. And, I was in the mood for something big.
So did I:
A: Go with an elegant silver and gold theme by adding this fabulous, humongous silver spray?
– Or –
B. Was I in the mood for a fun mid-century vibe with this enormous elf and those cool ornaments?
– Or –
C. Perhaps use the biggest celluloid reindeer I have ever seen (and have been hoarding, incidentally)?
– Or maybe I –
D. Came up with a combination of one or more of these?
What do YOU think I came up with?

A and C get my vote, but no doubt you can create magic with any combo of these! Just wondering, have you ever made a square wreath? I’ve seem them made with boxwood I think. The deer would look sweet in one of those as if the wreath were a picture frame. Put a few of those pointy toppers around and they could resemble trees in a forest. Ok, I’ll stop now….you know how it is….we artists are always “on” aren’t we?!!!
