With Thanksgiving being tomorrow, I am reminded of the many things I have to be thankful for.
One of the most personally rewarding things for me is how well appreciated the pieces I make from old Christmas/Holiday decorations and ornaments are. They are true labors of love and my greatest hope is always that they will go to someone for whom they raise a smile and, especially, bring back wonderful memories of time gone by.
My pieces are all made with bits and bobs that have been lovingly passed down through generations and the best outcome of all is to think that the person who purchases from me will, in turn, pass it along to following generations.
I’ve also had the immense fortune to have been featured in wonderful publications over the past 12 years. This year, I am delighted to have been mentioned in Colorado Expression Magazine’s holiday issue. This magazine is lovely enough to be displayed on your coffee table. I am very proud to have one of my pieces included in it (second photo).

Now, I’m off to the workshop to make something jolly!
Hope you’ve got your grocery shopping done and have a moment to sit and reflect on what you have to be thankful for, too. Happy Thanksgiving to each of you!
Wishes for a lovely Thanksgiving for you. You have known love and you have talent and friends. Blessings to you.
