Tonight, I bring you a dose of sweet and pink and she’s called Pink Angel.
I have had this angel for a while now and she finally gets to stand center stage. Isn’t she charming? Singing her little heart out she’s surrounded by a myriad of pastel colors.
Fittingly, there’s a Japan cardboard church on top and if you look closely to the left, you’ll see a tiny blue angel who is caroling from inside a golden basket. There are so many other beautiful pieces here including a big pale pink satin and pearl pin art ball; right next to that is a very old German golden lantern. There are some outstanding large Shiny Brites: the Nativity one in hot pink, the soft Silent Night (bottom right), a church scene right below our little heroine, and others like that striped indent. The more you look, the more you will see. There is even a WWII era unsilvered striped ball, that gorgeously allows the tinsel background to twinkle through. The top is finished off with gold picks and a pink teardrop pointing heavenward and the bottom is swagged with silver beaded garland.

I’ve been totally nose-to-the-grindstone getting ready for the Country Living Fair in Atlanta. We leave Wednesday! This past week, I’ve spent much of my time making whimsical little delights. This afternoon I took some quick phone pics so you can see just how many I’ve made! I’m guessing I’ll have about 75 or so. Each one is unique. I’ll be packing them tomorrow and will try to get back with a few more photos.
Happy Sunday night everyone!
