I have been terribly remiss in posting here but I do have a very good reason: I am getting ready for the Fair!
Next week, I will be traveling to the beautiful Hudson River Valley to be a vendor at the Country Living Magazine Fair in Rhinebeck, NY.
In preparation, I have been working long days – and into the night – making some new Vintage Christmas to take with me. I still have a ways to go but what has turned out so far is my best work yet, I think. I will be setting up the background and lights in the next few days to photograph all the new treasures and will post them here when I come up for air.
In the meantime, you need to make plans to attend the Fair! If you have never experienced a Country Living Fair then you have really been missing out. Having done the Atlanta Fair for the past two years (and I will be back this October for the third year), I can tell you that the creativity you see there is off the charts. Plus, you get to meet and greet Brent and Josh, The Fabulous Beekman Boys, who you may recall are fans of Glittermoon Vintage Christmas. They will be doing a book signing on Saturday. Since Rhinebeck is pretty close to their home base of Sharon Springs, NY, they will also be setting up a mini Beekman 1802 Mercantile for your shopping pleasure. I can’t wait to see what treasures they have brought from the farm.
Also, Cari Cucksey, of HGTV ‘s “Cash and Cari” fame, will be on hand. Look for her Repurpose booth for all sorts of great stuff. And that’s not all, there are bunches of demonstrations and how-to’s but best of all is the most fabulous shopping ever.
