I’m popping to in to alert you to two new pieces, pictured above, which will be available for purchase this Sunday, September 15th at 5 PM Eastern time in the Glittermoon Vintage Christmas Shop .
On the left is a project I have wanted to try for a long time, a picture frame, and I finally got all the pieces together to do it. That Santa is actually a broken Radko ornament (do not worry – it is strong as an ox and I have reinforced it further). Santa is surrounded by loads of little things from old ornaments to vintage bits of jewelry and other tiny accents. You could put a holiday favorite photo in the frame – or perhaps a piece of old ephemera or even wrapping paper, as I did. Or even a mirror!
On the right is “Constance,” a vintage Unesco (made in Japan) lady head vase for whom I made an elaborate holiday headdress last year. I had her in my collection but she has signaled that she’d like to go somewhere a bit more exciting than my house, so I am giving her her wings.
You can go to the shop to preview them, read all the details, and look at all the pictures. They will go live Sunday at 5.
