Wreath Availability Update

Hi, everyone! I hope you all are keeping safe and well these days.

I just wanted to give you an update of where I am with availability as far as wreaths go this fall. I have been out in the workshop getting new pieces made. And I am really happy with how the new wreaths are looking.

This year is so topsy-turvy (as if you didn’t know that already, right?) that it has been a little challenging getting as much time blocked out to create as I would have liked. And, with no shows at all, I have been trying to figure out the best way for me to get what I make to you. So, I’ve been researching online options and have chosen what I hope will work best for both of us. Of course, this means I actually have to set up what amounts to basically a new website just for that; and that takes time, too.

Right now, this will be just for the big pieces: wreaths and topiary centerpieces. Glittermoon Cards and the Tiny Topiaries, aka Christmas Canapés, will remain in the GlittermoonCards Etsy shop. I may decide later to move all Christmas to this new website but, in the interest of speed and efficiency, right now I’m going to leave them where they already are.

Once I have everything set up, and have several pieces ready to list at the same time, I will let you know a date when it all goes live. I expect this will happen in the next two weeks – fingers crossed!!

I’ll let everyone know via this blog, my newsletter, Facebook, and Instagram – with plenty of notice, don’t worry! So, please make sure you are following along on any – or all – of those. ☺️

Also, I will have 2 new wreaths on the Beekman1802 Holiday website very soon. Holiday actually launches Monday, October 12th! However, they are staggering when products will turn up so I do not know for certain when my wreaths will actually appear – I’m sorry. My best advice is for you to check tomorrow morning and then keep checking back. If I find out anything more concrete, I will let you know as soon as I can.

The Beekman 1802 theme this year is “Twinkle Twinkle.” So the wreaths I made each have a big star topper on them. One of them acutally has a lighted star that still works! I left the cord attached so it can be plugged in via an extension cord. Imagine how cool that will look…all you need do is some imaginative hiding of the cord and you’ve got it.

Here are the 2 wreaths available this year:

On the left is “Star Santa” and “Star Light, Star Bright” (this one lights up, if you wish) is on the right.

And to give you a teaser of what I’ve been working on, here are a few photos of works in progress.

This is about midway through a big, beautiful pink wreath I just completed

And here are a couple of details from the finished product:

I’ve also made a lovely wreath with a special angel topper I have been saving for a long time. Here are a couple of quick peeks:

And I am still working on a really fun one in bright colors with some colorful characters. I’m down to those last finishing touches now and hope to get it done tomorrow.

I started out with a cluster of things to choose from. This will give you an idea of where I was heading.

And this is where I am now:

Almost done! I hope to get the finishing touches on tomorrow.

Oh, before I go….(warning: shameless self promotion!) have you gotten your Holiday issue of Flea Market Décor Magazine yet?? It is still on newsstands everywhere – or you can order directly from the publisher here. Richard from Canada sent along these fun pics when he got his copy:

That’s all for now. I’ll be back with more news very soon.

Until then, please follow me on social media to see what I am up to in real time! Have a great night!
